Sam R. Silverblatt, O.D.

Optometrist

I was born in Ruleville, Mississippi. After attending LSU in Baton Rouge for three years I was accepted and graduated from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis Tennessee in 1981. I am a member of the American Optometric Association as well as the Louisiana State Association of Optometrist. I have been a member of the South Shreveport Rotary Club since 1984 and have served as an officer on several occasions. I have been Youth Group Advisor, President of the Brotherhood, and Board Member for B’nai Zion Temple. I am a Charter Member of Sci Port Discovery Center, friend of the Strand Theatre, and sponsored YMCA Youth Basketball for ten years.
